When you encounter problems with the data logger installed on the site and need to replace it with a new one, please follow the steps below:
Replacing with the same model (e.g. replacing PT-4000 with PT-4000):
a. Via the Photon webpage, go to Administration ⇨ Solar Device Management ⇨ Loggers, click the pencil icon on the right to modify the MAC Address. (Please use MAC Address 1 on the device sticker)
After the modification is completed, please power on the data logger again to read the latest configuration file from the cloud system.
b. Via the PV GO mobile app, click on Connection Status ⇨ Logger icon ⇨ MAC address, then modify the MAC address of the data logger. (Please use the MAC Address 1 on the device sticker) Once the modification is completed, please power on the data logger again to read the latest configuration file from the cloud system.
Wait for about 3 minutes to see the data logger back online.
Reminder: If you do not power on the data logger again, you need to wait until the data logger reads the latest configuration file from the cloud system at the next hour when it is connected to the external network.
